Re: Music Discussion
The new Switchfoot album, Vice Verses, came out yesterday. It's quite good, although not as amazingly incredible as I'd hoped. The song "Vice Verses" is beautifully written and "Selling the News" is pretty awesome. I'd suggest listening to those, if not the whole album ;D Edit: click here.

OH MY GOD.
This redefining-epic video is an instrumental cover of Adele's Rolling In The Deep. Mind. Blown.

Re: Music Discussion
Adele has a good song and a creepy song and many other mediocre songs.
The Resident's album is awesome, as is any album claiming to be a musical documentary on the inuit people and consisting of heartfelt gibberish shouted over beautiful soundscapes.
The new M83 album, Hurry up we're dreaming is simple amazing, as is their album Saturdays = Youth.

Re: Music Discussion
I like a few (the ones they play on the radio, basically), but many are indeed mediocre. Which one do you like and which one do you think is creepy?azer wrote:Adele has a good song and a creepy song and many other mediocre songs.
Re: Music Discussion
Testing out some other Adele songs. I'm definitely liking.
Also, trickynik, if you have something negative to say about that too, shut up.

It was a rather low blow at Star Trek. I'm not forgiving that.trickynik wrote:Nope, nothing this time. Continue on

Re: Music Discussion
Budowitz (klezmer music), Radio Tarifa (Flamenco/Arabian/Moorish music), Fanfare Ciocarlia (Gypsy music), Marika Ninou (Rebetiko music), and Garmarna (Swedish folk music) are all totally awesome

Re: Music Discussion
Florence + The Machine's new album Ceremonials is amazing. I wish I liked a bunch of foreign bands too so I could sound as cool as you guys Swedish folk music sounds awesome, though - I'll check out Garmarna.

Re: Music Discussion
Today I heard the song "Somebody that I Used to Know" by Gotye feat. Kimbra and it is really cool (in my opinion). I'm starting to listen to some of Gotye's other stuff and they seem pretty good. Definitely check out that song though ^^

Re: Music Discussion
@GoodUsername: Isn't that like the #1 song on Spotify? I R surprised?
@BobShmob: Is the keyboardist even doing anything? Or is he just holding onto the sides of the keyboard and headbanging? I can't tell. The music also indicates no keyboard (at least the five seconds I listened to didn't).
