I looked at the website and still don't really get what it is... what's all this about winning? What is the goal here?

Sigh...all you have to do to win is write to your word goal. You don't have to do 50,000. If you do the ywp, you can set your own word goal. I've decided to do 25k after all, because I'm a lazy wimp.

In other news...we set up a haunted...porch...and it was quite successful. Seriously, it was pretty disgusting. Like, half the kids wouldn't even come in. SUCCESS.

Not exactly a happy event, but

*exasperated sigh*

My OCD is involuntarily kicking in. My dad got 5 fish [the biggest is 3"] because they were free and I'm left to attempt to take care of them because, of course, you can't trust children with them -- they're so much more work than that. Might I mention I'm not even a big fan of animals? I do however hate injustice to animals. So here I am attempting to care for them and researching online for information of what they need [being the Dr. Sheldon Cooper that I am] and now in slight rage because we need a pretty dang big aquarium to occupy these fish. And I can imagine why. They need the oxygen and space. Gar. We also haven't got the filters, or water conditioner, or fish food yet...

I can't believe my fish [now named Tuvok, Quinn, Data, Neelix, and Kirk (all Star Trek characters, of course)] have survived 24 hours so far in my possession. Yay OCD! Laughing

They seem to be doing well, actually, considering the fact that I'm temporarily keeping them in a very, very large pot. [I will receive a proper aquarium from a friend on Saturday. Very Happy

In other news I FINALLY HAVE MY PERMIT LOL.

I'm a paranoid driver of course. So watch out for me. AND GET OUT OF MY WAY. *progresses at 15 MPH*
