Post your own songs!
Post songs of your own creation!
I will start. This is a slow, simple song I wrote yesterday (my first, so don't expect it to be very good).

Re: Post your own songs!
I would post my song, if this wasn't such a public forum, and i wouldn't want my music stolen and published like I didn't write it myself. So if anyone would be even remotely curious, message/email me.

that song is interestingly repetitive... there are only 2 and 0s... interesting

Re: Post your own songs!
If anyone who plays guitar wants to try out this chord progression I came up with (which I actually made into a song) they can
(I know this is a dead thread)
It goes:
Capo 2
Dm C Am G
For the verse it's palm muted, and the chorus, well, its not palm muted. I wrote a part for electric guitar and piano too if I ever get around to posting it

Re: Post your own songs!
idk... it would probably be something to the effect of repeating Em, D, Bm, C I don't know what typical bass stuff, sorry
(you can play the chords progression w/o a capo is you use the power chords Em, D, Bm, C)

Re: Post your own songs!
here is a chord progression I came up with the other day
Capo 2: Am, F, C, G
or if you don't have a capo, Bm, G, D, A
I made a really cool alternated version using the capo, you place your pinky finger on the 5th fret of the high E string and play the progression 2 times through. Then you remove your pinky and play it normally 2 times through, then you switch to the progression Dm, C, Am, G and play that four times*.
-----------------------------X------------------------------
the the strum pattern is: \/---\/-/\-/\-\/-/\-\/--/\------(the X means it is muted)
I play it each chord twice, so it is Am, Am, F, F, C, C, G, G. The strum pattern is played fast
have fun!
*I don't mute the Dm, C, Am, G, part
Capo 2: Am, F, C, G

Re: Post your own songs!
You could make a sick walking bassline using notes from the scale, which is E minor/G major. You probably want to match the root notes E, D, B, C first, and then work out some bass riffs from there.
Re: Post your own songs!
had I a bass guitar, maybe
