wow, nice, what defines "pixel art?"

When you make something by creating each individual pixel.

often times thats what I do on RMD well at least I zoom up so I can see all the pixels

It's looking very cool. However, a few things. You should avoid black strokes, they're kind of unrealistic, especially with light colors. Also, flat colors, even in pixel art, should be avoided. Here's a good website for pixellers: www.wayofthepixel.net

A retro-style sprite. Used 9 colors.

Sorry to necropost (this thread is like 7 months dead, two weeks dead, freshly dead) (brownies to people who get the reference) but I have gotten into pixelling lately because of renewed interest in Nitrome.

So here is a little building i made in PDN based on a tutorial... And yeah I know the "I"'s shadow is messed up. Tell me what you think... I did this without a color limit, :]. And I plan to do something more interesting, of my own work, later.
