what do you mean by icons?

like, icons for programs... I haven't made any, but i'd like to start...

you know, jon, there is a way to make them look exactly like something to be used for an iPhone/iPod Touch by adding a transparent white overlay over the top... makes it look like a glass button...

I wanted to make them in a different style. (I know how to make them look like the defaults). Using them requires jailbreak, sorry.

Jon those are incredibly beautiful icons, make some OSX apps and sets PLEASE.

Pardon the noise and artifacts, but I decided to make some icons as well Oh and for the record I will change that icon for Camera,
as it doesn't match the theme entirely.

On that note If I see these ripped anywhere someone will be killed...

Some XXL icons I'm making for the new iPhone display:

beautiful! would they fit the iPad due to their larger size?

do you usually make these for specific apps? like, the camera one is obvious but some of them I'm not really sure what they go to.

Yea, they are all for defaults. Some of the metaphors are a bit tenuous, but they are: app store (the APPle store ), camera, clock, game center, music, settings (supposed to be the hood on a car), messages (a message in a bottle), movies (a box office), voice memos (a tape), weather, and youtube.

And they don't fit the iPad, they are a bit too big. The new iphone's icon size is 112 by 112, but the iPad is 72 by 72.

I was tempted to push the buttons on my screen and make myself look even more ridiculous than I am already defaultly perceived.

Here are some mac icons that I've been working on. Mac icons are much more challenging IMO because you have to make them in several different sizes (as you can see here) and, obviously, they are much more detailed.
