I made a world in a swamp biome (I think) with lots of vines and happy stuff. I went mining and 2 ravines and a huge abandoned mineshaft. Huge being like 8 chests found so far. Poisonous spiders are quite killer.

Agreed, I died in two worlds so far. This is mainly because I want go live in an NPC village. But those are kinda rare. Maybe third times the charm Happy

I found that if your foodbar is full, you can't die from spider poison. :p (It only takes you to half a heart). I don't really like the mineshafts though, not only cause they're infested but cause they're ******* everywhere...

I think they could be generated better. So their not floating. Anyways, they are kinda cool. However, they are a bit big like you said

Soooooooooooooooo many glitches with mineshafts... I think that when you find them they are everywhere, but they are certainly not all over the place

I found a seed online that spawns you really close to a Stronghold. When I went inside it the whole place had been merged with the mine shafts! They were very unnatural looking, for mine shafts

I am not a huge fan of the new food system, I find it detracts from gameplay.

Wow! Nice Jon! So far all I have made in creative is...nothing. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the creative mode. I'm more excited for the food system (which is the second best part of the game) and the new landscapes! Those are awesome! Despite some of the unrealistic parts of it.

1.8 = YUS! Esp. creative mode. Can't wait for official release to update the server (ugh, lotsa work.)

OHYAH making tx packs 1.8 compatible right? ESPECIALLY since we have the terrain.png, etc., right?

I just moved out of my dungeon home, made it to explore a mind shaft. Those spiders are killer! Luckily they can only get you down to half a heart

Well now that everyone is playing the pre-release, they are probably taking time to sort out all the bugs people found. probably why they leaked the pre-release in the first place, so that they could have more time to work on it.

Leak was not intentional. Though Jeb later approved it, it was not meant to happen originally. They already had some playtesters, and those people spread the prerelease. Now, though, you're probably right. They might be glad to have a little extra time.
