Neutral mobs spawn in anywhere with a light level of 9 or more, no closer than 24 blocks from the player. In other words, if you go more than 24 blocks from your house and it's nighttime (so mobs don't spawn outside) they will spawn in the brightest place (your house).

TLDR; it's bright in the house, so they spawn there instead of outside where it is dark (all this is at night).

Kris and I burrowed deep underground and found lots of diamonds and gold! We were also able to make a portal to the nether, so that's cool too.

Uh... Cool... What is it?

It's a random temple that I decided to make because I was kinda bored. The dimensions of the base are 128X64. To fill that in takes idk how many blocks, but I do know it would be 128 stacks of 64 theoretically. For 1 layer. And there are flaming pyramids on the top. Ok, I'm going to call it the Temple to the Non-Existent Nether God.

Oh... Cool... It should be a shrine for the giant-armadillo
