(in case anyone was wondering what IS minecraft) its a first person builder game. there are several different materials and basically, you build things (a lot more fun then it sounds). Different materials do different thing and in multiplayer there are, obvious, lots of people. its really fun, free, and awesome

EDIT: minecraft, at the moment, seems to be down due to the fact that the server couldn't handle all the players. I'll post again when its back up.

Hay guyz sorry to necropost but I think we should start an AIC Community MC server. If no one else is willing to, I will host it, or attempt to, making it private and stuff. Unfortunately, that would mean we would only be able to go on when I was able to go on; in which case, I could zip up the hosting folder and send it to someone else to host.

Or we could pass around a level file, adding to it and making an AIC community via that. It's less fun that way though.

Ok so basically this is tentative and stuff but we'll have to agree on a time. And I will need to convert my beautiful house over from single player. which can be done, apparently.

Didn't work for me, sorry. It said that I can no longer access the server from that URL. Is it an SMP server?

Yah I know... It was working for me earlier and now it isn't.
What is SMP? I think it is, but I am not really sure.

SMP is survival multiplayer. It's like creative mode, but with a standalone.

Also, many more new materials. I could host an SMP server but my parents won't let me port-forward our router.

How do you host/play SMP? Does it involve purchasing the game???

If I can't get private working we will have to make it a public server, in which case I'll just kick anyone non-USP. Or let them stay if we feel like it.

Edit: [b]Alright, basically it's not working privately so I'm gonna host a public server called AIC Community. If people come in and make messes I can ban them.

Trying to log in right now, the minecraft site is acting funny. And yes, you need to be the game to play SMP.

Yeah my server's not really even up because it's hiccuping so much... I decided to stop running it and take it down.

Urg. But single-player creative still works. Idk why, but http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp goes straight to single-player without a problem.

It works again. (yay!)

Hey guyz I will be trying to get the server working from now until some undecided time.

I also invited Mrs. Bone to come. Anyone else besides Jon and me going? Let me know so I can pm you the link to the private server. If private doesn't work, I will say so up here and point you in the right direction to the public server.
