Muse is a mix of space and progressive rock. They influence classical styles into their music. Have you ever noticed that a lot of their songs there's a rise in the music. The notes, arpeggios tend to get higher and higher [and perhaps fall back down]. Food for thought.

Everyone brands things as indie because they don't know what else to call it. The whole indie genre is a bit hard to define.. but I can tell you, it's DEFINITELY not Muse.

Okay. Here we can discuss some cool bands and/or individual music artists (I know Felicia will talk about Elton John). A couple of my favorite bands are Jethro Tull, R.E.M., Brother, Three Days Grace, Supertramp, Muse, Talking Heads, SR-71, Counting Crows, Smash Mouth, Flobots, and Breaking Benjamin.

okay, nao, i also like Muse, Modern English, and maybe Chicago. as far as i can tell, Chicago the city = bad. Chicago the band = goooood.
