So far since it's been opened again, it's been generally inactive, and otherwise has been a target for bots. Like, only. Just a suggestion.

bots post on all the forum topics, not just politics and religion. I see no reason to lock it

A bot is an automatically created account that spams the forum with automated messages. We get them a lot.
