Actually, I believe that the top was going to fall.

In the movie, when the top spins it spins perfectly, without wobbling at all. At the end, you can see that the top wobbles a little. Plus, in the movie, when Cobb is in a dream, he is wearing his wedding ring (You can see it multiple times). At the end, his ring is gone, proving that he's not in a dream.

However the children are wearing the same clothing that the children in the dream were wearing when Cobb met them in the end so we can't be sure...

Their shoes were different I think. I'm going to watch it again tonight so I'll know for sure tomorrow. How many times have you seen inception?

I've seen the whole thing about 8 times, but I've seen different parts of it millions of times because I have it on my ipod

Wish I had an ipod so I could do that. My mp3 can show movies but we don't own Inception so putting it on there would be illegal.

Well first of all it's illegal and since that doesn't seem to perturb you, let me explain why that's bad. It could result in being fined or in some cases, thrown in jail. If everyone has the mentality to download music/DVDs illegally, it kills the economy because people aren't being paid for their work. And it's just plain dishonest and bad do the world a favor and stay legal!

okay so I finally did see the movie and I loved it and I think he was in a dream because the ending flowed wayy too much for it not to be a dream.It was kinda pretty and reality is not like that

Still haven't seen the movie.

That's what I thought at first. I was like, "Yeah, sure! Like that top can spin that long!" Then I bought a version of the top (The one I showed you) and if you give it a good spin it can spin for up to a couple minutes! It's really aerodynamic. So yeah that top can spin very long.

Yeah we bought the movie! Now netflix won't get mad 'cause I refuse to send the DVD back! And I can put it on my MP3 player! Happy Dance

Cobb's totem might not have been the top, the top WAS Mal's totem. Every time he is in a dream he is wearing his wedding ring, and every time he is not he is not wearing it.

Yeah I never got how his totem was her totem... Did he tell Ariadne not to touch someone else's totem because of what happened with Mal? Or was he just breaking his own rule again?
