This goes to all members (one in particular), unless you really have something relevant and useful to say on an old thread, stop necroposting for the sake of posting!

how about we lock and remove the threads that are long dead (at leas the ones that are being necroposted)

How old are "too old" threads, 'cuz I posted on the quotes one which was only dead since May or June... I didn't think that was too long - is that acceptable?

i would say it's fine. you see, necroposting on 3 threads in a row for no particular reason would be a little less than acceptable if you know what I mean

Like I said, if you have something to add, post away, but just trolling old threads is stupid.

IMPORTANT. I have moved all threads over a year old to the deleted threads forum (which I recommend be changed to a public archive).

"Public Archive" sounds like a star wars term
