Re: Rock Collection!
Wow! That's pretty cool! Nice collection.
You should get a bloodstone; it's my favorite and my birthstone.

Re: Rock Collection!
I like those (but I think that kyanite is better than black kyanite)
Methinks you should get some azulite. We went to a rock exhibition at the royal ontario museum, and they had a lot of really awesome rocks (100+) and I really liked the azulite.

Re: Rock Collection!
The black kyanite looks more awesome then the picture shows (it was a bad picture)and the desert rose selenite is about 50 times more awesome in person too. I know I could get some azurite, but I don't know about azulite... anyway, the place I get most of my stones is really really really really awesome! with AMAZING stones and such it is the coolest place ever and you are allowed to touch anything! (just hope you don't break it or you might be in trouble )BobShmob wrote:I like those (but I think that kyanite is better than black kyanite)

"unobtainium is a humorous concept for any extremely rare, costly, or physically impossible material needed to fulfill a given design for a given application." quoted from wikipedia, it is nothing

Really nice collection!
The desert rose looks like a big sample, and the obsidian arrowhead is way cool.

the desert rose is great size for the price I paid and sometime, when I get around to it, am going to string the obsidian arrowhead into a necklace

Re: Rock Collection!
I has some more rocks to add to my collection
Sandstone (so freakishly amazing!!!) sadly, you can't see it all
The sandstone is sooooo cool!!! It wasn't altered in any way, that's how it natural forms. The different shades are based on the iron in the waves that was hitting against the stone and the dark thick lines are hematite

Re: Rock Collection!
Just got some new crystals
fluorite (green/purple) its shinier in real life
sunstone
a sand nodule. That is, pretty much, a premature sandstone. I was given it for free b/c it is well, premature and falling apart. Theoretically if I coat it in clear glue, it will stay together and still be awesome.

Re: Rock Collection!
I realized it has been a while since I've posted my new additions, so...
A large Serpentine block that I got for my Birthday. A quote from Tim about the rock "The ideal size to do some damage when thrown."
This is the front

Re: Rock Collection!
These are really awesome! I forget what a lot of mine are, but if I happen to remember... I'll post some of mine too. I have a ton, I just forget most of their names. And my mom has a ginormous amethyst geode.
