Just one thing to say, though:

If you haven't read the book, the movie is great. If you have, the movie SUCKED!!

Even if you didn't know the book, the movie was bad. They transformed the plot of the book (which was more or less original) into a typical fantasy movie no different from any other.

I saw the Pink Panther 2 (or at least part of it) and hated it. It was so overdone that I stopped watching the movie after less than 30 minutes.

I just saw Mall Cop, and it was just plain funny-- really fun to watch. The acting was good in that too. I just saw The Secret Life of Bees which is kind of a chick flick but I liked it a lot; there was good symbolism which is lost sometimes when a story goes from a book to a movie. I never read the book, but I'm assuming it was there too; I think it's safe to guess that.

Felicia's sort of right but it was funny enough that it was just plain great even if it was kind of pointless. It's about a mall security guard and a bunch of people break into the mall (w/ weapons) and take hostages and this ridiculous guy tries to stop them. Like when he tries to crash through a locked glass door, he ends up falling on his back. Happy

It's pretty funny.
