Re: D&d/Dnd
I have decided to post the campaign I am running for Matt's party. We started last night.
It started with the party hearing about some orcs extorting the rich members of the community. The party was hired by the local prince to stop the orcs. By posing the paladin as a rich newcomer, they were able to kill several orcs and capture another, but the captured orc would provide no information as to its employer. The party tried again disguising themselves, but this time the orcs loosed a dire boar upon the party. They killed the boar, but the rogue was slain (probably because Matt decided to have her engage the boar in melee). They tracked the boar to a hut in the wild, where they slew several orcs and their ogre leader. They found and amulet around the ogres neck that was controlling the ogre's actions, so they traveled to the city to find a wizard to trace the spell cast on the amulet. The wizard agreed to trace the spell if the party would get him a rare and valuable magic herb. The party has found the herb, and is currently trying to get past the tabs surrounding it (it is one important herb).
This is where we left off. I will update this when we have another gaming session.

BOT ALERT!
I happen to know that the above info is a quote from the featured article on the D&D wiki, so this bot is just quoting the most related result for "Dungeons and Dragons." You can check here:

Re: D&d/Dnd
If D&D is Dungeons and Dragons then what is DnD?

Re: D&d/Dnd
right so the next part of the adventure we killed a couple of bandits in the forest and then saw the thing holding the herb.
It was surrounded by water, a somehow bottomless spiked pit, and something else which i am currently forgetting. So first the water seemed trapped to me so i captured the local wildlife and used it to check for traps. We activated the water trap and i then decided that we would lay a log across the water to get across, so we did. Then we came to the spiked pit, and we had no more handy wildlife. the barbarian got bored so he tossed the wizards pet cat into the pit first lighting him on fire. This set off all the one use traps asher had planned. Needless to say he was ticked when i used another log to get across to get the herb, and then we went back to town
more will be told later
