Well, here's my first PDN contribution in quite a while. You can see it up there on the forum home page. It is titled "snow globe".

in my opinion, though, if you're going to name it Snow Globe, are you able to like really make it look like a snow globe? you know, bulge, some cropping, a cool base for the globe? just an idea, to make your abstract art on something relatively real [respectively] and there, you've got both of them!

Felicia, I understand your reasoning for the snow globe, but my intent was this:

Take away from the outside, and focus on the inside. I also intended to create a sort of.. pun (I wouldn't know what else to call it), in the fact that I also tried to make this picture look relatively like a map--a snowy, white map. I wanted to represent a world of snow.
