I've heard a couple of people try to convince me that time does not exist. This is not necessarily true. Time as a thing does exist, and in fact it is a variable phenomonon, similar to motion being able to change speed, so can time. Time is actually closely related to the velocity of an object, and relative depending on the position and speed of that object. Anyway, it itself does exist, but it is not as concrete as we think. we exist in 3 dimensions, and as such cannot comprehend time, the fourth dimension, as a variable.

Well, if you talk about time like that, then time-space is just a four-dimensional fabric. Time and space are more closely related than we think. The only thing is, since we exist in four dimensions, we can only really observe three of them, like two-dimensional people could only observe one dimension. While we say we can observe time, we really can't because to us it is always constantly going in one direction at the same speed. If time were to speed up or slow down we wouldn't know it, because we just "go with the flow" of time.

Also, for humans, relative time has little to no effect because even at the fastest velocities we can reach with current technology time differences are minimal (it's been tested!)

I know, but theoretically time does slow as you move faster.
