To go along with the plaid shirted dude... I really like drawing like this... do you guys think I should keep on trying this, or go back to something a little bit more painter-ish? (I'd still do painter-ish drawings- I'd just do most of them like this)

...oh yes, and the boots ARE supposed to have ridiculously thick soles like that (they make up for his height, or lack thereof)

I like this style, I think you should keep trying it! They look good!

... Okay, here's a WIP, so any critique would be very welcome. I've spent about 9 hours on it, and I'm going to add in a person sitting/standing somewhere on/near the junk pile. Any ideas as to where? I can't seem to fit him in at the moment. (and I am going to fix the soil in front of the tree)

There's a guy in my neighborhood who has a radio station set up to play christmas music and his house is all decked out with accompanying lights. It's better to watch in person but he has a facebook page for it (for those of you with facebook access) and a website: http://www.sevenstarschristmas.com. The facebook page is linked on the website. Edit: there are videos on the website if you want to see what it looks like.

It's really cool to sit and watch; the lights just turned on tonight, so my dad and I got to see them and listen to the music as we drove home. Happy
