Re: Thread for Drawings
Wow.... you really are really good at this.
To shade the gun, do a slight matte shade. Essentialy, darken the colors where you want to shade very slightly and in blocks.

Re: Thread for Drawings
thanks, I have already changed the gun shading a little bit though, and I will post the update whenever I am unlazy-ified XDeklipse13 wrote:Wow.... you really are really good at this.

Re: Thread for Drawings
k, sorry for double post (again XD)
Here is the finished version (unless you have any critique of course). The shading on the face is different than normal- drastic shading is all good, but if you want someone to have really pale skin it is not easy to shade like that.

Here is the lineart for a conceptual horsey thingymajig (and I did put a person to show how you would ride it- it wouldn't be easy XD). Feedback on anatomy or any cool ideas would be very welcome

Re: Thread for Drawings
Why would the horse evolve seemingly useless hooved feet in front when it had those massive hooked feet? Also, why would an obvious carnivore evolve hoofs, when paws are much better suited to hunting.
Re: Thread for Drawings
that thing looks epic...who would be dumb enough to ride that thing?

Re: Thread for Drawings
Well, if you wanted to go fast and had no other alternative, although you would have to have a lot of experience.
This is part of my story, so obviously someone rides it, or else I wouldn't have put a person on it

Re: Thread for Drawings
it didn't really evolve. It is as if someone took a bunch of different animals, mixed them up, and this was the result- it wasn't exactly purposeful, but it did not evolve either. As for how it walks- it would be hard to describe, but I made the hind legs a little bit larger, and the hooked feet help it go faster, and also function as things to slash animals with (not quite paws, but something good for a carnivore). And also, this is not exactly supposed to be practical- it is supposed to be accidental.azer wrote:Why would the horse evolve seemingly useless hooved feet in front when it had those massive hooked feet? Re: Thread for Drawings
nope Ben- you'll never know
Anyway- here is the shaded version. It was fairly quick, so I didn't bother to shade in the person. Feedback pls. on the transparency
