I think they have a great look to them... despite being a little blurry
The first reminds me of a movie I can't put my finger on (probably something you guys would hate)
The second reminds me of the Gorilla bot in a strange way... nice work

Re: Thread for Drawings
I agree... very great drawing... reminds me of some style of art that I'm probably confusing with some other style of art. Anyway nice work

I'm pretty sure Marina calls the castle... I could always try to draw one... but it would not be... let's say, GOOD.

Re: Thread for Drawings
Yeah basically. :[ The thing deleted it because it was old-ish (like 24 hours or something). And I didn't have a copy. MREH!
Jay... might... have one?
Oh well. Jay and I are (slowly) working on another thing, but it will take a lot longer.
OH and I made this: [Concept-art]/[I want this!] I called it Win3D but I think I would prefer a Linux for this computer.
Wow, transparency fail. Way to turn the background black. It works, though.

Re: Thread for Drawings
Jon, whaddya mean? Heheh. Although I have thought of a couple ways of relatively easily using it. What are the issues you see?
Also, Nik: it's a computer in 3-d, so like a hologram. While this might not be possible with only three sides, as I showed here, it could potentially be possible with 4 or 5 sides, in which case the view would probably just have to be rotated to see from different angles.
This is a potential OS for said computer.

Issue #1: Start bar is inconveniently placed
Issue #2: There has to be a better way to have multiple windows open that does not obscure all of them
Issue #3: Is running windows XP
Issue #4: Is running windows XP
Issue #5: Is running windows XP
Re: Thread for Drawings
Hehe. Where would you put the start bar? And what do you mean about the windows?
But I agree pretty much with issues 3-5, I just had no better reference at the time.

Well, because it's 3D, doesn't that mean you'll have to use all sides of the cube to get all parts of it (unless you want the windows to be obscured as Asher noted)? Even if you're only reaching to the side to bring a window to the front, that motion is gonna get tiring and old pretty quickly. Unlike with a mouse and keyboard (or even something like an ipad) where your hands are always on a desk, only moving around a few centimeters, with this you're going to have to move a lot in space, which is waaaaay more exertion than us computer-users are used to, not to mention that it takes longer.
